What is your style of photography?
My photography style is timeless, authentic, natural for the joyful brides. I love capturing the raw emotions on your wedding day and document the little details that you have been working so hard for!
For photo editing, my style is to achieve rich colors that is true to life. I don't use "Instagram like" filters to edit your pictures because those will run out of style eventually. I want you to look back at the photos 20+ years from now and feel like your wedding just happened yesterday!
I prefer candid photos and I don't know how to pose. What should I do?
I love candid pictures! In fact, most of the wedding day you probably don't even notice I am there taking pictures. My intention is to capture your wedding day in an unobtrusive and distraction-free way.
Don't worry about posing I'll help you. For photos like bride and groom portraits I give some direction/guidance in a way that you don't feel like you're posing at all. This is done quickly in a subtle and pleasant manner. My goal is to give you just the right amount of direction and guidance to get the best images so you can go back to enjoy the day.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
It takes about 6-8 weeks after your wedding day to receive the photos. If I finish early I'll send them your way as soon as they are done. All the photos will be in high resolution JPEG format with print release. Once you receive the online gallery you can immediately view/share/download the photos. You have full rights to print the photos your own but if you want to save time you can also purchase the prints via the online gallery.
Do you have insurance?
What if emergency happens and you cannot photograph our wedding?
Until now, thankfully *knock on wood* I still have perfect attendance and never missed a wedding. It would have to be something catastrophic for me not being able to photograph your wedding. If somehow that happens, I will notify you immediately and propose that one of my other amazing photographer that I've worked with before (and photograph the same style as me) to step in and capture your big day. Rest assure there are contingency plans if that were to ever happen.
What type of equipment do you use and do you have backups?
I use the top-of-the-line professional Canon gears. I shoot with two camera bodies and have many different premium lenses that I use throughout the day. Those gears allow me to capture from wide to telephoto range for all your special moments.
For backups, I do have a 3rd professional Canon camera. Also, if my second photographer is coming he/she has another 2 camera bodies. Which means there are 5 or possible more cameras together in case anything goes wrong.
Do you use flash?
Absolutely! I love using natural light as much as possible but when the sun comes down I love using flash to create dramatic photos! During your reception, I typically use at least 3 flashes on and off camera to capture the dancing shots!
Should we add a second photographer to our package?
I highly recommend having a second photographer no matter the size of your wedding. That is because 2 photographers allow you to have different camera angles throughout the day.
For example, when you are walking down the aisle one photographer can capture the bride while the other photographer capture the groom's expression. This tells a much better story of the wedding day that goes to your album!
Can we buy the wedding album after the wedding?
Of course! However I do recommend telling me in advance that you are interested in purchasing the album. Having to know that affect the flow how I photograph your wedding and how to tell the story. For example, I'll make sure certain photos have both horizontal and vertical orientation so it fits the album pages later on. This is just one of the many reasons.

I'll check to see if my calendar is available for your wedding day and will schedule a chat to see if we're the right fit for each other.
Once we've decided we are the right fit a 50% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract are needed to officially lock your date on my calendar. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.
