I had the honor photographing Helen and Jared’s The River Club Suwanee Wedding in Atlanta GA. This beautiful venue is located only 35 minutes from the Atlanta metropolitan area. It has beautiful natural scenery and a huge country club house to host your wedding.
Some things I really liked about The River Club Suwanee are the bride and groom getting ready areas. The bridal suite has a locker room, walk in mirror closet and a large open area for your getting ready photographs. For the groom, it has a full bar for drinks, locker room and multiple large areas for getting ready shots.
Since this venue is actually a country club golf course, as a wedding photographer, it is easy to find space to take bridal and couple portraits. The ceremony area also has enough space to take all kinds of pictures at different angles. Most importantly, it also has a huge pavilion so if your wedding day happens to be a rainy day there will be a backup plan.
Overall, this is a perfect venue in a wedding photographer’s perspective. The venue staffs are super nice and there are rooms for photographers to use lighting equipment when it’s dark.
